
Car Won’t Start: Battery or Alternator Fault?

You turn the key or press the start button, and nothing useful happens. Maybe the dash lights flicker, the engine clicks once, or it starts after a jump only to die again later. When a car won’t start battery or alternator trouble is often the first question, but the symptoms can overlap.
